Understanding Anal Fistulas
An anal fistula is a small tunnel connecting an internal infected gland in the anal canal to an external opening on the skin. It frequently develops following a perianal abscess that did not heal completely.
Common Symptoms:
Recurrent Pus or Blood Discharge
Throbbing Pain & Swelling
Fever or Chills (if infected)
Skin Irritation around Anus
